Reusing Existing Development

By encouraging the redevelopment of existing brownfield (business sites with potential contamination) and greyfield (abandoned big box, industrial or shopping centers) sites, prime open space can be conserved while still allowing for continued growth and development. Adaptive reuse of existing development and the preservation and use of our historic structures will also allow for land protection while allowing for growth and development.
