The landscaping and flowers on the roadway are a waste of taxpayer money.
A) Yes
B) I don't know enough about it
C) Yes!
Yes.
Not familiar with Thoroughfare Overlay (TO) District.
Yes - should be protected through active intervention.
Need plan to survey/identify
Absolutely viewsheds should be preserved - Forsyth County is beautiful - especially the rural parts.
Natural areas need protection but I don't think a lot of tax money should sustain it. A volunteer project could sustain it.
Fewer of those intrusive electronic signs!
Yes. Of course!
Yes
Haven't seen it
Yes
Yes, view areas would enhance our thoroughfares
No, adopt design guidelines proposed by the Creative Corridors
Regarding TO District - you need to publicize this - not a clue what it is
DO NOT WANT BELTWAY!!
Absolutely, we should protect our viewsheds, especially the Highway 311 corridor between W-S and High Point. Billboards should only be allowed to be located on commercial or industrial sites, not on public property and not on greenway corridors.
Our natural areas should have a protective oversight czar with real teeth that can issue a “stop work” order if necessary.
